Oooooh....I'm getting NERVOUS!!! I'm starting to get those butterflies in my tummy and I really don't think I'm going to be able to sleep the night before. It's just SOO exciting. Less than 5 days to go!! I can't wait!!! I'm going to ROCK this marathon. :)
This week will be nice and easy...
Monday: 4 miles- Just finished it! :)
Tuesday: 3 miles
Wednesday: 2 miles
Thursday: 3 miles
Friday: OFF
Saturday: UTAH VALLEY MARATHON!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Sunday: OFF
My goals are to do my runs, try and relax, and have fun on Saturday!!!

I just finished my 4 miles for Monday. It was pretty uneventful besides a couple of kids who were catching fish and then throwing them on big rocks to kill 'em and running through a couple sprinklers.
A couple of shots of the trail I ran on today. It was nice and sunny. I felt good besides my left calf being a little sore, but I think that's just from working it during Saturday's down hill race.

Have lots of fun!! Especially on your last short runs. My last 3 miler before the race last weekend made me feel great. I need more short runs in my life :)I will be thinking of you while you run!
You have to enjoy the race. You probably won't sleep much, but at least stay and bed and rest. You can do this and I cannot wait to read the race report!

JUST found your blog today. I was GOING to run that marathon w/ a friend, but life got in the way. My family is from Utah Co. and the course sounds awesome. I'm excited to hear how it goes! Good luck!!!
