My wanter is broken....

I want, I want, I want.....

After missing yesterday's run because I procrastinated and because there were no baby-sitters home, I've decided I want one of those babies! A BOB Revolution Dualie Stroller...I want it SOOOO bad. The only thing that sucks is the cost...maybe if I have it for 20 years it would be worth it. I gotta save up for this baby. Maybe it'll be a Christmas present to myself this year.

Today I didn't wait until the last minute and I got out and got my 9 miler in. I felt good! There weren't any aches, but I could feel myself tightening up so, I stopped a couple times to stretch. It's crazy to think that my marathon is only 30 days away! Oooh! It's happening, it really is. I can't wait to see how I do. I really like racing the half marathon, it's my new favorite. I wonder if the marathon will become my new favorite distance after this race. Tomorrow's going to be an easy 5, I think I'll get it done early so I can enjoy the day.

Whoa...I never thought there would be a time that I would say, "I'm going to run an easy 5 miles today." It's SOOO cool to be able to say that and mean it.

J's dad flew in today. He's back for some R&R from Iraq. He ran a marathon and was on the cross country team at BYU in his hay day, so it's fun to be able to talk running with him. He even wants to run a couple runs with me while he's here. Fun, fun!

I love that stroller! I think you could definitely get some money back if you sold it later on down the road.

Be a gazelle when it come to the stroller!!! =) LOL

You know you can always call me when you need someone to watch the kids while you run!!! You could come run around our neck of the woods. It might be a nice change of pace... just saying! =)

Our house is always welcome to your kiddos!!! =)

ooh la la! She's purty. :)

"easy 5" in a year maybe I'll say that. :) My mom swears 5 is the magic number, if you can run 5 miles you can run anything.

One of the things I love so much about building distance is the relative ease that the others become. Easy 5, eh?

I have it and it is worth the $. It's an amazing stroller and I know a ton of people who have resold their's for almost full purchase price. Don't rule it out.

I don't know how much this is but we have a Schwinn double jogger and it's terrific. The handle adjusts so my husband (6'4") can push comfortably and me (5'4") can also push comfortably. I looked them up online and they run about $325+ but they are good (we were blessed and my mom found one at a garage sale).

I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE our BOB. I don't know how I could do runs without it. It is very pricey, but worth every penny in my book. One way to save a little on it is if you keep an eye out on sales- REI does 20% off semi-annual sales if you sign up for their lifetime membership (which is like $20). That would save a big chunk on the stroller! Albeebaby.com has similar sales, as well but I am not sure if they exclude BOB. Good luck!

I had the chance to run twice with one and OH MY DEAR!!! it is AMAZING!
\You are doing serious running and you will be keep doing it, so I would buy one. Keep an eye out for craigslit and garage sales.
My friend got one second hand and it was still more than a regular stroller, so once you are done with it sell it!

Good luck!

Do you have craigslist in your area?! I had a friend buy her like new BOB on there. I have two BOBs and love them - I highly recommend them!
